You will be staying in the heart of Les Hautes Alpes Provence in a series of 3* hotels and chambre d’hotes. The accommodation is relaxing and comfortable, a perfect respite after your day’s walking.
Walking
The walking is suitable for those who walk regularly in the countryside and on hills. We suggest you have a reasonable to good fitness level to come on the holiday. Generally, the walks range between 4 – 7 hours but are done at a pace to suit you.
Your luggage will be picked up every morning and transferred to the next place you are staying. We have appropriate transport to ensure it is kept safe and secure during the day.

If you want to do other activities whilst you are with us, these are available;
Horse Riding
There are riding schools or places to hack out through the valley. If you want to head in to the mountains for the day, we can arrange hacks for all riding standards. Guides and equipment are provided.
Paragliding
There is nothing as magical in the world as soaring above the mountains like an eagle on a tandem paraglide flight. We highly recommend you have a go whilst you are with us. The instructors we use are all fully qualified so you’re in the best hands.
Climbing
There is some fabulous climbing in the area. Climbing is great fun for all of the family and you can be sure of a good work out. Take a guide and head out to the local climbs for beginners through to advanced climbers.
Hotels Facilities
Each of the hotels we stay in has a range of facilities but on the last night we stay in a hotel with a swimming pool, where you can use the facilities. Some of the hotels do not have internet access and phone service can be limited in the mountains.
Transport
Transfers to and from the station and local transport is provided for you, as per the schedule.
Spa Treatments
If you would like spa or physiotherapy treatments, we can arrange these for you on the final day.
