Saturday 9th June 2012

Arrive Arrive at Geneva between 10am and 1pm
Afternoon Afternoon tea and introductions to the team. Plus one-to-one goal settings for the week.
Afternoon A short run / walk around Annecy Lake
Evening Pre dinner welcome drink
Evening Dinner

 

Sunday 10th June

Morning Optional run around the lake followed by a short swim and breakfast
Morning Pilates mat session beside lake, introduction to good posture and strong core followed by introduction to active ageing
Lunch Lunch at chalet
Afternoon Mountain bike ride along woodland trails beside lake
Evening Dinner at chalet

 

Monday 11th June

Morning Optional group run followed by breakfast
Morning Guided hill walk in surrounding mountains with views out over Annecy Lake
Lunch Picnic lunch in the mountains
Afternoon Visit to Tailloires to kayak, swim or wander around the village
Evening Pilates session with dynabands for upper body strength, followed by dinner at chalet

 

Tuesday 12th June

Morning Optional run and swim followed by breakfast
Morning Pilates session beside lake using the athletic ring for resistance and target specific areas of the body, followed by a healthy eating and diet discussion
Lunch Lunch at the chalet
Afternoon Track running session, jogging for beginners and a tempo session for the more advanced runners
Evening Short stretch session, followed by dinner

 

Wednesday 13th June

Morning Optional run and swim followed by breakfast
Morning Pilates class with dynabands, progressing exercises already learnt followed by discussion on the psychological aspects of exercise, motivation and commitment to a regime
Lunch Lunch at chalet
Afternoon Free afternoon for an Annecy town visit, paragliding, kayaking, horse riding, cycling or just relaxing by the lake
Evening Dinner at the chalet

 

Thursday 14th June

Morning Breakfast
Morning Trail run or brisk walk in local mountains
Lunch Lunch at chalet
Afternoon Outdoor gym session using trees, logs, benches, steps and dynabands to show how you can get a workout wherever you are
Evening Yogalates, mix of yoga and pilates to relax and go home revitalised followed by dinner in a local restaurant

 

Friday 15th June

Morning Optional morning run and swim followed by breakfast
Morning Last walk to a mountain summit to say goodbye to the area
Lunch Lunch in the chalet and depart
