Overview:

Join our Walking Guide, Pip Line, on a fantastic week in the Tarantaise Valley discovering the famous ski area, the 3 Valleys in the summer time.

Each day you will walk 5-6 hours, taking in high mountain meadows, flowing streams and stunning scenery the area has to offer. The walking includes circular tours of mountain hamlets only accessible in the summer, visiting mountain refuges for unbeatable views across the Tarantaise Valley, summit walks to famous mountains of the region and a day’s walking in the Vanoise National Park to see the glaciers.

You will stay at a catered chalet in the heart of the 3 Valleys to allow you to relax and enjoy the time off when you are not walking. Many of the chalets we use have spa facilities and these are free for you to use.

In addition, there is also a free day off so you can get out to do some other activities such as white water rafting, paragliding, cycling, visiting the thermal spas or just browsing around the local mountain towns. There is no better way to see the Alps in their summer glory!

This trip is suitable for those with some hill walking experience and a reasonable fitness level.

The cost for the week is £750 per person to include;

  • 5 days guided walking as per schedule, plus one leisure day for additional activities / site-seeing
  • 6 nights accommodation in ensuite room, based on 2 sharing (£850 for a single room) in a catered chalet
  • full board including continental breakfast, picnic lunch en route and dinner (except on the final evening when we go out for dinner)
  • transport from Geneva airport or Annecy train station
  • local transport to and from walks

The costs to you are flights, holiday insurance, dinner on the final night, additional activities, drinks and souvenirs.

NB, we do not take over 10 people per trip and places are on a first-come, first-served basis.
