Please aim to arrive at Geneva Airport or Annecy Train Station between 10am and 1pm on your arrival day and depart between 3pm and 6pm on you departure day. You may be subject to short wait in Geneva. NB, if you are unable to make those those times, we may have to charge you for the transfer.

Transport

We have a private vehicle to transport you to and from the airport and for the local transport, as per the schedule.

Accommodation

The accommodation is as stated on the information pages. Towels and bedding are provided. Please check the chalet facilities for information about spa treatments etc.

Riding Levels

We recommend you are a competent rider to come on this weekend. You should be able to canter on your own and have had experience hacking horses out. The horses are well mannered and schooled but you must be able to control them. Please discuss your riding ability with us if you are unsure.

Holiday Insurance

You MUST have holiday insurance to come on this holiday. We recommend using Endsleigh Insurance, who cover most of our clients. We may ask you for proof of your insurance to ensure your safety. Please bring the documentation with you.

Weather

The weather in spring / autumn can range from 18-35′c during the day. However, we are in the mountains so we recommend warm and wet weather clothing for on and off the hill. Please ensure you have a waterproof jacket you can carry in your rucksack in case the weather changes whilst you are out.

What to Bring / More Information

For this retreat you will need riding boots (non-grip boots), riding trousers without seasm (jeans can be incredibly painful after 2 days in the saddle), a small rucksack to carry your pack lunch and your riding hat if you own one.

Please download our Retreat Information Sheet for more information on what to bring, weather etc.

If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.
