Transport

We have a private vehicle to transport you to and from the arrival / departure airport and / or station as per the schedule.

Accommodation

We will spend the first and last nights in a 3* hotel in the valley, the additional 5 nights will be spent sleeping in refuges along the trail. NB. The sleeping arrangements are ÔÇÿdormitory-style’ in the refuges. There are limited washing facilities and simple loos. In the hotel you will have your own private room. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag for this walk. We do have some available to rent whilst you are on the trail but is better to bring your own. There is limited access to roads on the trail so you must carry most of your equipment with you. We are able to leave some at the hotel before you set off but please travel light.

Fitness Levels

You will be walking 5-7 hours a day. We recommend walkers on this trip have a good to strong level of fitness. We walk at YOUR pace but you must have regular experience of hill walking.

Holiday Insurance

You MUST have walking holiday insurance to come on this holiday. We recommend using Endsleigh Insurance, who cover most of our clients. We may ask you for proof of your insurance to ensure your safety on the mountain. Please bring the documentation with you and put a photocopy in to your rucksack.

Weather

The weather in July can range from 18-35ÔÇ▓c during the day so we mainly advise on spring / summer walking gear. However, we are in the mountains so we recommend warm and wet weather clothing for on and off the hill in case the weather turns for the worst.
