Trainer

HARRIET ANGELL

Harri is a REPS level 3 Personal trainer, Advanced Fitness Instructor and Mat Pilates teacher. She is also qualified in Ante and Post Natal exercise, Older Adults, Weight Management and has been in the fitness industry for over 25 years.

After studying acting at LAMDA she went on to work in theatre and television, in between acting jobs she taught aerobics and body conditioning (in those days you didn’t need any qualifications, just a Jane Fonda video and a pair of pink leg warmers)! More recently she has worked for Weight Watchers UK in their Programme Development and Company Training department. Harri also writes health articles and is an avid blogger.

Since taking up running in her mid-forties, Harri has run marathons, half-marathons and 10k’s raising funds for Kidney Research UK and other charities. She’s also a keen endurance cyclist. But her real passion lies in encouraging the older adult to keep moving and to continue to have a go at new challenges.

She is currently on a mission to make growing older a glamorous, happy, fit, healthy time of life. And with that in mind, she is currently studying for a BSc in Sports Sciences at Brunel University with the sole purpose of specializing in the science of ageing, health and continuing fitness.
